Champak Steel & Engineering Co.

We are located at 25 Dhan Bhuvan on 1st Carpenter Street. The company name is Champak Steel & Engineering Co. and we’ve been working from this same building for a long time. Carpenter Street is always busy, and there’s usually the smell of metal and grease in the air around here. Our shop is a bit cramped because we try to keep a lot of steel and engineering parts on hand for our regulars. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we manage to find what we need eventually. We don't have a big marketing budget or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just handle the steel and talk to the people who come through the door. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us for many years. They know we’re not about the fluff or the fancy talk. The building is older, and the stairs can be a bit creaky, but it has a lot of character. We spend most of our day on the phone or checking the various gauges on the metal. It’s dusty work, and our clothes usually show it by the end of a long shift. We don't pretend to be a giant corporation with fancy offices. We’re just a small outfit trying to do a decent job every single day. Sometimes the monsoon rains make things a bit difficult with the roof leaks, but we just put out buckets and keep on going.
