Challenge Plus

Our place is located near Janjikar Street on Spine Road, right in the heart of the Crawford Market area. If you know this part of town, you know it’s always packed with people, motorcycles, and carts moving goods back and forth. We’ve got a shop that’s usually overflowing with boxes that just arrived. We handle a lot of different products, mostly things you’d find in a general store or a household. It’s loud and hectic outside, and inside isn't much different during the peak hours. We spend a lot of time checking inventory and talking to suppliers on the phone. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find fancy displays or soft music. Everything is stacked high to make use of every bit of space we have under the ceiling. We’ve been here for years, and we’ve seen the market change quite a bit around us. My cousins and I run the show, and we’re usually too busy to sit down for a long lunch. We get a mix of people coming in—some looking to buy just one thing and others looking for bulk for their own shops. We don't have any corporate rules or anything like that. We just try to get the orders right and keep things moving so we don't get a backlog. The air is thick with the smell of the market nearby. It’s a tough place to work sometimes because of the heat, but it’s where we belong. We know our regulars well.
