Central Packer & Mover

If you go to 43 Bomanji Lane in Fort, you’ll find us on the 5th floor of the Eastern Chambers building. We’re right in the Bora Bazar area. Central Packer & Mover is what we do. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and bubble wrap, to be honest. Moving in Fort is a nightmare because the lanes are so narrow and the buildings are old. We’ve had to carry furniture down some very tight staircases because the lifts didn't work or were too small. We mostly help families moving houses or small offices shifting their desks and files. We bring the boxes, tape everything up, and load it into the trucks. It’s physical work and you end up pretty tired by the end of the day. The office on the 5th floor is where we handle the scheduling. It’s usually a bit of a mess with empty cartons and packing tape rolls lying around. We don't have a flashy showroom. People usually call us or come by to talk about how much stuff they have. We’ve been doing this for a good while, so we know how to pack things so they don’t break, but accidents can happen when the roads are full of potholes. We just try to be careful. It’s a busy life, especially at the end of the month when everyone seems to be moving at the same time.
