Down in Vakola, at Roop Nagar 6, you will find our shop. We go by Central Engg And Metal Inds. It is a noisy part of the city, but that is just how things are when you are dealing with engineering and metals. We have been in this location for a good amount of time, and the neighbors know us well enough. The workspace is filled with different machines and scraps of metal that we use for various jobs. It is not the cleanest place in the world, but it is a real workshop where things actually get made. We spend most of our time wearing work clothes and getting our hands dirty. It is a local operation, so we don't have any of those polished corporate offices you see in the city center. We just focus on the engineering side of things and try to finish the projects as they come in. Sometimes the power goes out, or a machine breaks down, and we have to spend the afternoon fixing it ourselves. Vakola is a crowded area, so getting materials in and out can be a bit of a challenge with the narrow streets. We don't do much advertising. People mostly find us by word of mouth or because they saw the sign while walking past Roop Nagar. It is just honest, hard work every day. We keep the machines running and the orders moving.
