You can find Cenmar Maritime Agencies over in Colaba, which is one of those parts of Mumbai that still has that old feeling. We are on the 5th floor of Lance Downe House, which is a sturdy old building on Mahakavi Bhushan Marg. It’s right behind the Regal Cinema, so it’s pretty easy to find if you’re in that area. Working in Colaba has its own rhythm. The streets are narrow, and there’s always a mix of tourists and office workers wandering around. Being a maritime agency, it feels right to be near the water and the docks. Our office isn't modern by any stretch. It has those high ceilings and windows that have seen a lot of monsoons. We handle a lot of logistics and shipping details from here. It’s mostly paperwork, phone calls, and coordinating things across the ocean. The elevators can be a bit slow sometimes, and the stairs are definitely a workout, but that’s just part of being in an older building. We don’t go for anything fancy. The focus is just on making sure the ships and cargo are where they need to be. It’s a steady job in a historic part of town. We’ve been here for a long time, and we like the character of the place, even if it’s a bit worn around the edges. It's just a regular group of us handling the shipping business day in and day out from this old Colaba office space.
