Our team at Cbre South Asia Pvt Ltd works out of Robert Villa 06. We’re located in Jbn Agar, which is part of Andheri East in Mumbai. If you know Andheri, you know it’s always moving at a million miles an hour. Our office is a bit of a refuge from that chaos, even if it is a simple place. It’s a villa, but it functions as our main workspace for the area. We’ve got different rooms set up for different tasks, though we usually end up congregating in the main area to talk things over. The building has a bit of character to it, maybe even a few creaks here and there. We don’t have a fancy lobby or any of that corporate stuff. We just have our equipment and a bunch of people trying to stay on top of their to-do lists. Getting here in the morning is usually an adventure with the local traffic, but we’re used to it by now. We drink a lot of tea and try to keep the atmosphere relaxed. It’s not a place where we worry about looking perfect. We’re more concerned with making sure the work is accurate and finished on time. It feels like a local spot because we’ve been here long enough to feel part of the neighborhood. Just a small group of us in a quiet villa, getting things done every single day without much fuss.
