Our business is located at 242 Mazgaon, which is an area known for its long history with trade and the nearby docks. We deal with steel, mostly parts and supplies that other local businesses need for their own building projects. The building we are in is quite old and has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and holds all our heavy inventory without any trouble. We’ve been operating from this same spot for quite a few years now. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the tall shelves and bins full of various metal components and fixings. We spend our days sorting through orders and making sure everything is ready for the trucks to pick up. It can be quite a workout, lifting the heavier pieces of steel, but we’re used to it by now. The neighborhood is always active and full of life, and we know most of the other shop owners on this street. We aren't a big company with many different branches; it’s just this one location here in Mazgaon. Usually, it’s just a couple of us working here, keeping things organized as best as we can given the space. We don't use much fancy technology besides a basic computer for keeping the accounts straight. Most of our work is done by hand or with simple tools that have been around for a while. It’s a traditional way of working, but it gets the job done.
