If you’re looking for us, we’re right at 14, Turakhia Park No.- 1. It’s easy to find because we are right next to the Corporation Bank and diagonally across from the swimming pool on M. G. Road in Kandivli West. You can usually hear the machines before you even see the sign. We do steel engraving, which is a loud and messy business. There’s always the smell of metal and oil in the air. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a long time, and we’ve seen shops come and go, but we just keep doing what we do. The office is small and usually has a fine layer of metal dust on everything, no matter how much we clean it. We don't have a slick website or a salesperson in a suit. Most of our work comes from people who have been using us for decades. They know where we are and they know we’ll get the job done eventually. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to wait for parts, which is frustrating, but that’s life in a machine shop. We spend a lot of time double-checking the measurements because steel isn't something you want to mess up. It’s hard work, and our hands are usually stained by the end of the day, but it feels good to see the finished product. We’re just local people doing a specific job.
