Carafe

Sakinaka Gallaria is always busy and that is where we are tucked away. Carafe is just a small spot where people come when they need a break from walking around. It gets pretty noisy in the mall, especially on the weekends when families are out. We spend most of our time cleaning tables and making sure things are ready for the next person who sits down. It is not a very big place, so sometimes people have to wait a minute if it is lunch time. We have been here for a bit now. The staff mostly keeps to themselves unless someone asks for something. We don't have fancy decorations or anything like that. Just some chairs and the usual setup you see in this building. The lights are a bit bright because of the mall ceilings. Sometimes the delivery guys are rushing in and out which makes it feel a bit chaotic. I usually start my shift early to get the stock sorted. We see a lot of office workers from around Sakinaka who just want to sit for ten minutes without their phones ringing. It is a straightforward kind of place. Nothing too complicated about how we run things. We just open the shutters and stay until closing time. It is a decent spot to be if you are in the area. We try to keep the floors swept and the water cold. That is about it really.
