Carafe Coffee Shop

Out in Andheri East, tucked away at 4th Cross, 24th Main in Manjunatha Colony, Phase II, you’ll find our little coffee shop. It’s a quieter part of the area compared to the main roads, which we actually prefer. We spend our mornings grinding beans and setting up the chairs outside. The smell of coffee is usually what hits you first when you walk in. We don’t have a massive menu with a hundred different things; we just stick to what we know how to make well. The staff consists of a few locals who live within walking distance, so we usually know what’s happening in the neighborhood. We’ve had the same espresso machine for years, and it has its moments where it needs a bit of a kick to start, but it makes a good cup. People from the colony come in to chat or just to get away from their houses for a while. We don’t try to be a trendy spot with loud music. It’s mostly just the sound of the grinder and people talking. Sometimes we run out of milk or sugar and have to run down to the local store, but our customers don’t seem to mind much. It’s a relaxed place. We’re just here to provide a simple service to the people around us. Every day is pretty much the same, and we’re perfectly fine with that.
