Capital International

Capital International is located in Central Building No. 2. We are on the 1st floor, right opposite Kalbadevi. The address is actually listed as Central Building No. 2, 1st Floor Opposite Kalbadevi twice, which is how we usually tell people where to go. This area is incredibly crowded almost all the time. There are people everywhere and the noise from the street is something you just have to live with. Our building is quite old and the hallways are narrow. Once you get up to the first floor, our door is right there. The room we work in is packed with desks and computers. There isn't much space for walking around, but we manage. The windows are high up and they let in a bit of light, but mostly they just show the side of the building next door. We have a small fan that wobbles when it’s on the highest setting. The floor is made of that old tile that’s started to chip at the edges. It’s a very busy place to work, but being in the middle of Kalbadevi means everything is within reach. There are plenty of shops and vendors just outside our door. We’ve thought about getting more modern furniture, but the stuff we have is sturdy and it does what it needs to. We spend our days here among the stacks of paper and the sound of the city.
