Our office is up on the 7th floor of Olympus, specifically room 703, at 5/C Altamount Road. It’s a pretty well-known spot in the neighborhood. We operate as Canopus Advisors Llp from this space. Being higher up gives us a bit of a break from the street noise below, though you can still hear the city if the windows are open. We spend our days going through files and talking about advisory matters. It isn't exactly a thrilling lifestyle, but it’s what we’re good at. The office has a bit of an older feel to it, which we actually prefer over those modern places that feel like hospitals. We have our files stacked up and our pens always seem to go missing when we need them. We don’t put on an act for anyone who visits. We are just a group of people who know our way around the paperwork and the regulations. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we’ve learned to be patient. We like the Altamount Road area because it feels established and steady. Our routine is pretty consistent; we come in, check the mail, and get to work on whatever needs finishing. There’s no big marketing team here, just us doing the actual labor. It’s a quiet place to think and get things sorted out for the people we work with.
