Cannon Steels Pvt. Ltd. is located over at 101, Krishna Chambers, right on New Marine Lines. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always a lot of traffic and people moving around outside. Inside our office, it’s mostly just us handling the paperwork and coordinating the steel supplies. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking through stock lists. It isn't a glamorous job, just a lot of logistics and making sure the metal gets where it needs to go. The office has been here for a good bit, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for us. We have some old desks and a few computers that have seen better days. It’s a practical space. Most of our day is spent talking to truck drivers and suppliers. We don't really do big meetings or fancy presentations. If someone needs steel, they call us up or drop by the building. We know the neighborhood well and the other folks working in the chambers. It's a solid place to work. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall downstairs and talk about the day's tasks. New Marine Lines is a busy area, and finding parking around here is a nightmare, so most of us take the train. We don't really use much fancy software; a lot of it is still kept in ledgers and notebooks. It’s a pretty regular life, just dealing with steel and getting through the work.
