Canlift India

Canlift India is over at No. 29/A on Baburao Bobde Marg. We are right in Masjid (East), which is one of the busiest parts of the city. Being opposite Devi Lane means there is a constant stream of trucks and handcarts passing by our front door. It’s a very noisy and crowded area, but it’s where all the action is. Our building is a bit older and the stairs are narrow. We have a small office where we handle the orders and the logistics. It gets very hot in Masjid East, especially in the middle of the day, and the air is always thick with the smell of the market. We don’t have any polished corporate stuff here. It’s just us, some old computers, and a lot of notebooks. Most of our work involves coordinating where the lifts need to go and making sure they get there through the narrow streets. It’s a bit of a puzzle sometimes. We have been at this address for quite a while now. The people around here are hardworking, and we are just the same. We don’t have a mission statement or anything like that. We just try to get the jobs done and hope the traffic isn't too bad on the way out. It’s a tough environment, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. It feels like the real heart of the city's trade.
