Campion School

You can find us at 13 Cooperage Road, right in the heart of the Fort area. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of old stone buildings and offices around us. Being down here near the Oval Maidan means there is always something happening outside. The school itself is an old building, and we’ve tried to keep it in good shape over the years. It’s not a sprawling campus, but we use the space well. The boys are usually full of energy, and the corridors can get quite loud during the lunch hour. We don’t go in for anything too flashy. The day starts early with the sound of the bell, and we just get on with it. We have the usual classrooms, a library that’s seen a lot of use, and a small area for sports. The teachers here are practical people. They know the city and they know how to handle a room full of energetic kids. Traffic on Cooperage Road can be a headache in the afternoons when everyone is trying to leave at once. We’ve seen many changes in South Mumbai, but the school stays pretty much the same. It’s a place where kids learn the basics and grow up. We aren't trying to reinvent anything, just providing a solid place for them to be every day. It’s home for us and for the students who spend their days here, year after year, and we like the stability of it.
