Cafe New York

Our place, Cafe New York, is in the Dabholkar Building on Huges Road. It’s right in the Grant Road area of Mumbai. The name sounds a bit grand, but we’re actually a very simple local spot. We’ve been in this building for many years. It has that old Mumbai charm, I guess you could call it. The walls are thick and the furniture has been around for a long time. We haven't changed much because our customers seem to like it the way it is. We get a lot of people who are just passing through Grant Road on their way to work or the station. It’s not a place where you’ll find fancy lattes or anything. We just serve good tea and basic food. We don't spend money on ads. We just hope that if someone likes their meal, they’ll tell a friend. That’s how we’ve stayed in business all these years. It can get pretty warm in the afternoons, but we have enough fans to keep the air moving. We aren't a big chain, just a single shop run by people who live nearby. It’s a bit worn out around the edges, but it’s home to us. We just take things one day at a time and try to keep our customers happy. If you're near Huges Road, you can't miss us. We have been here forever and plan on staying for more years to come.
