Cafe Coffee Day

This spot in Bandra West, over by Electronic City, is where we spend most of our time. It’s a corner place where people come to hang out or do a bit of work on their laptops. We have these big windows that let in a lot of light, which is nice during the day. The espresso machine makes a lot of noise, but after a while, you don't even notice it. We aren't doing anything fancy here. We just make the coffee, serve the snacks, and try to keep the tables wiped down. Sometimes the milk delivery is late, and we have to wait around, but usually, things run okay. We get a lot of students from nearby and folks who work in the offices around Electronic City. It gets pretty loud in the afternoons when everyone is on a break. We’ve got a couple of plants that we try to keep alive, though it’s hard with the AC running all the time. The chairs have seen better days, but they’re still sturdy. We don't have a big team, just a few of us taking turns behind the counter. Most of us have learned how to make the drinks just by doing it over and over. It's a steady rhythm. People come and go, some stay for hours, and some just grab a cup and leave. We’re just part of their daily routine, and that’s fine with us. It's just a cafe we run every single day.
