Cafe Coffee Day

You can find us over on Memonwada Street in Andheri West. It is a narrow street with a lot of shops packed together. We are squeezed in between a local grocery and a mobile repair shop. It gets very crowded outside, especially in the evenings when the market is in full swing. Our shop is a bit narrow, so we had to arrange the tables in a long line against the wall. It’s a good place to watch the world go by through the front glass. We get a lot of students who live in the hostels nearby. They come in to do their homework because it’s a bit quieter here than in their rooms. The ceiling fan has a bit of a click to it, but you stop noticing after a few minutes. We don’t put on any airs about being a fancy establishment. We just serve what we have and try to keep the place decent. Sometimes the delivery truck can't find a place to park on the street, so we have to carry the crates ourselves from the main road. It’s just part of being in this neighborhood. We know the neighbors and we keep an eye out for each other. If you need a break from the heat and the noise of Memonwada Street, you can come in and sit down. We’ll be here doing our usual routine until closing time every day.
