Cafe Coffee Day

We are set up out on the Wakad-Hinjewadi Road in the Tal Mulshi area, though people often associate us with the Lower Parel branch. It’s a long stretch of road and a lot of people stop here while they are commuting between the office hubs. The parking lot out front is mostly gravel and gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up. Inside, we have a bunch of tables and some sofas that have seen better days. It's a place where people take a break from the driving. We see a lot of folks in business clothes looking a bit tired after a long day. The light inside is a bit dim, which some people like because it’s relaxing. We don’t have a massive kitchen, so we stick to the basics. The sink in the back leaks a tiny bit but we keep a bucket under it and it’s fine. Our staff comes from the nearby villages and they’ve been working here for a long time. They know the regulars by name. It’s not a polished corporate office; it’s just a building by the road where you can get a hot drink. We keep the doors open even when it’s raining hard, which happens a lot around here. It’s a reliable spot for anyone passing through. We just try to keep the place warm and the tables clear for the next person who comes in.
