Cafe Coffee Day

This shop is located in the Powai area. It’s a part of town that has changed a lot lately, with all the new buildings going up nearby. We get a mix of students from the college and people who work in the tech offices. Most of them are looking for a place to sit with their phones or talk about work projects. The chairs are wooden and some of them have a bit of a wobble, but they do the trick. We try to keep the place cool because the humidity outside can get pretty bad. The music we play is usually just whatever is on the radio at the time. We aren't trying to be the most stylish place on the block. We just want to make sure there is enough milk in the fridge and the mugs are washed. Sometimes we get a big rush in the late afternoon and there’s a bit of a wait, but people are generally patient. Our team is small, just a few of us who take turns behind the counter. We know which outlets work best for charging laptops and which corner is the quietest. It’s a simple setup. Nothing too complicated or over-the-top. We just open the doors in the morning and stay until the last customer leaves in the evening. It’s a good spot to just be for a little while without any fuss or trouble.
