Cafe Coffee Day

Our Cafe Coffee Day is right here in Chembur. It’s a neighborhood we’ve grown quite used to over the years. The shop isn't massive, but we make do with the space we have. You’ll find us mostly behind the counter, grinding the beans or steaming the milk for a cappuccino. Chembur has a lot of energy, and we get a bit of that inside the shop too. We see a lot of the same people every morning, mostly folks who live nearby and stop in before they head to the station. We have some old posters on the wall and the furniture is starting to show its age, but it still works for what we need. The light comes in through the front window and hits the floor just right in the morning. We spend our afternoons keeping the area clean and making sure the sugar sachets are topped up. It can get a little cramped when a large group comes in all at once, but we manage to get everyone served eventually. We don't have any big speeches about what we do or why we do it. We just make coffee and try to be polite to the people who come in. Sometimes we have a laugh with the regulars about the weather or the heavy traffic outside. It’s a simple routine that we follow every day, and it keeps us busy enough for our shifts. We like being part of the Chembur community.
