Cafe Coffee Day

Our shop is right on Juhu Tara Road in Juhu. Being this close to the beach means we get a lot of sand tracked in on the floor. We are constantly sweeping it out, but it always finds a way back in. It is a busy stretch of road with a lot of tourists and locals walking by. The air is always a bit salty from the sea. We have a few tables inside where people sit to get away from the sun for a while. It is a pretty simple place. We spend our shift making coffee and warming up sandwiches. Sometimes the air conditioner struggles when it is really hot outside, but we manage. The staff is used to the crowd that comes in after a walk on the sand. We do not have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just open the doors, turn on the machines, and start the day. It can get pretty loud when the place is full, with everyone talking at once. We have had some of the same customers for a long time who just want their regular drink. The furniture is a little worn out from use, but it is comfortable enough. We focus on keeping the counters clean and the milk cold. It is just a regular part of the Juhu scene. We stay open late because that is when the road really comes alive with people.
