C Gandhi & Company

We are over at Vijay Niwas, which is an old bungalow in the Ghatkopar West area. Our office is on the 1st floor. It’s an interesting place to work because it doesn't feel like a standard office building at all. You can tell the building has been around for a long time by the way the doors creak and the height of the ceilings. Being in Ghatkopar West near the H O, we get a lot of people passing by the area. It is a busy part of the city, but inside the bungalow, it feels a bit more relaxed. We have our desks set up in what used to be living spaces probably. C Gandhi & Company has been operating from here for a while now, and we’ve gotten used to the quirks of the old place. There is always something that needs fixing or a window that won't stay open right. We don't have any fancy signs or modern lobby areas, just a door with our name on it. Most of our day is spent at the desks or on the phone. Sometimes we sit out on the landing if it’s a nice day. It’s a practical space for us. We don't need much more than a roof over our heads and enough room for our files. People who visit usually comment on the old style of the building before we get down to business. It is a quiet place to work compared to the main road outside.
