A J Traders

You’ll find A J Traders over on V. V. Chandan Street in the Vadgadi area of Masjid Bunder. We are on the second floor, room 208, in a building that’s right in the middle of all the market action. If you know this part of Mumbai, you know how packed and lively it gets. There are people everywhere and goods moving on handcarts all day long. Our space is tucked away from the noise of the street, but we’re very much a part of it. We deal with trading various things, mostly just buying and selling what’s in demand. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping track of stocks. The building 124-126 is an older one, but it serves us well enough. We’ve got a small crew who knows how to handle the bustle of the neighborhood. It's not the kind of place you come for a fancy meeting, but it’s where the real work gets done. We spend our mornings checking prices and our afternoons managing the loads. Most of our neighbors are doing the same thing. It’s a community of traders and wholesalers. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. Just a desk, some phones, and plenty of ledgers to keep our accounts straight. It’s honest work in a busy part of the city. We don't complicate things more than we need to.
