Bru World Cafe

We are situated at Juhu Pimple Saudagar Shop No 3 & 4, Plot No 10 & 11. We took over these two shops and knocked the wall down to make more room. It is a bit of a strange address, but we have been here for a while now. The cafe is simple. We have a coffee machine that makes a lot of noise every time we steam the milk. My staff is made up of a few local boys who live nearby. We spend the morning sweeping the floor and wiping down the tables. The chairs are just plastic ones we got from the market. We have some plants in the corner but I often forget to water them, so they look a bit sad. Juhu can be a busy area, but our plot is a little tucked away. We get people who want to sit and talk for a long time. We don't mind as long as it's not too crowded. The menu is just a few types of coffee and some biscuits. We don't have a kitchen for heavy cooking. Sometimes the fridge makes a loud humming sound at night. It’s not a fancy place with velvet sofas or anything. It’s just a spot to get a hot drink. We do our work, talk to the regulars, and close up when it gets dark. It is just a regular job for us.
