Our office is actually a bit different because we work out of the Brijwasi Bunglow in Santacruz West. Brijwasi Biotect Pvt. Ltd. has been at this P-135 address for some time now, right on Juhu Road. Being near Sangita Society makes it easy for people to find us. Working from a bungalow instead of a big glass tower in Mumbai feels a lot more grounded. We have converted several of the rooms into workspaces and labs where we deal with all the biotechnology projects. It can get a bit tight when we have a lot of samples coming in, but we have figured out how to use the space well. The commute is not too bad for most of us, though the Juhu traffic is always a challenge in the evenings. We usually have lunch together in the small area out back when the weather is not too humid. Our team is small and we all know each other well, so there is not much formality here. We spend our hours looking at data and making sure our equipment is calibrated correctly. The neighbors walk by and sometimes stop for a quick chat, which gives the place a nice local feel. We do not have any big corporate signs out front, just the house number and our name by the gate. It is a quiet way to run a tech company, and it suits the kind of work we do every day.
