Bombay Island Coffee Company

Our place, Bombay Island Coffee Company, is at Plot No. 33 in the New Sonal Link Industrial Estate. We are in Malad West, not far from the New Link Road. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by warehouses and small factories. It is a very busy area with people always moving crates or driving small delivery vans. Our shop is inside one of these buildings, so it has that industrial feel with high ceilings and concrete floors. We don't try to hide that; it's just part of where we are located. We have some bags of coffee piled up in the corner because we do a lot of our own work right here on the premises. It can get a bit loud with the noise from the other units in the estate, but you get used to it after a while. We have some sturdy tables where people can sit and take a break from their shifts. It is a no-nonsense kind of place. We don't use fancy napkins or expensive decor. We just focus on the coffee and making sure people have a place to sit for a bit. It is a bit of a walk from the main road, but people find us anyway. We spend our days roasting and packing, and the shop part is just where we serve the local workers.
