Bombay Coffee Company Inc.

We are tucked away in Dheeraj Apts over in Borivali East. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for a coffee place, being in an apartment building, but it works out fine for us and the neighbors don't seem to mind the smell. Most of our morning is spent dealing with deliveries and making sure the equipment is behaving itself. The space is a bit tight, so we have to be organized, though things usually end up a bit cluttered with paperwork and bags by midday. You can hear the sounds of the city outside all the time, but inside it’s mostly just the whirring of the grinders. We don't have a huge staff or anything, just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. Dealing with the "Inc." part of the name makes it sound more official than it feels when we’re actually working. Mostly, it's just us in our shirtsleeves, sweating over the heat and making sure the coffee smells like it should. We get a lot of locals from Borivali who just want their daily supply without any fuss or fancy talk. No complicated menus or trendy drinks here. We just focus on the beans and try to stay on top of the orders as they come in. The floor always has a layer of coffee dust no matter how much we sweep it during the day. It’s a busy life, but it's what we do.
