Bombay Batteries

Bombay Batteries is located in Goregaon West. We have been in this specific neighborhood for a long time, and everyone around here knows exactly where to find us. Dealing with batteries is heavy work, literally. We spend a lot of time moving big lead-acid blocks and checking voltages with our meters. The shop floor is usually a bit stained from all the years of hard work, but that is just how it is in this trade. Goregaon West is a busy hub, and we get people coming in from all over the area. Some need a new battery for their car, while others are looking for home backup systems. It is a lot of manual labor, and by the end of the day, our hands are usually pretty dirty. We do not have a fancy showroom with bright lights. It is just a front desk and a lot of stock piled up in the back room. The fans are always running to keep the air moving because it can get quite warm with all the charging going on. We are not salesmen; we just tell people what we have available and how much it costs. Sometimes we sit outside on a small stool when the shop is quiet and just watch the traffic go by. We have seen the area change a lot, with new shops and buildings opening up all the time, but we just keep doing what we do. It is a simple business, run by people who really know their way around a battery.
