Blue Impression

Our place, Blue Impression, is tucked inside the Viral Shopping Center at B/11. It’s on Sainath Road in Malad West, so you can imagine the noise and the crowds. The shopping center is always busy, especially on the weekends. Mantriwadi is a bustling area, and we’ve been part of it for some time. Our unit isn't very big, so we have to be careful about where we put everything. It’s mostly counters and some equipment for the work we do. The lighting in the mall is a bit yellow, and it gets a bit stuffy when the crowds are thick. We know most of the other shop owners around us, so there’s a lot of chatting in the hallways. Sometimes the elevators in the center act up, and customers complain about the walk. We just try to keep our heads down and get the orders done. It’s a lot of paper and ink smells around here. Malad is a fast place, everyone is always in a hurry. We don’t have fancy furniture or anything like that. Just some sturdy tables and chairs that have seen better days. It's a practical space for a practical business. We drink our chai from the paper cups the boy brings around twice a day. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s our living and we like being in the middle of Malad. It works for us.
