The Birla Sun Life Asset Management Company Ltd office is situated in 1A 403 Bhavini Enclave. We are in Mulund East, which is a nice part of Mumbai, right near Kelkar College. Because the college is so close, there are always students around the area, giving it a lot of energy. Our office is on the fourth floor, so it is a bit removed from the street noise. It is a professional but simple space where we handle investment tasks and asset management duties. We have a few rows of desks with computers and plenty of space for all the files we have to maintain. It’s not a huge office, so we all know each other well. Most days are spent looking at numbers and processing various requests that come in through the mail or online. The rain can be a bit of a problem in Mulund during the monsoon, but the building is sturdy. We have a small pantry where we make coffee and take short breaks. It is a very practical environment. We focus on getting the records right and making sure everything is filed where it should be. It’s the kind of place where people just put their heads down and do the work without any unnecessary drama or complicated corporate culture. We just make sure the daily balance is done and the computers are shut down properly before we head home.
