You’ll find us in the Dhannur Building on the first floor. It’s at 15 Sir P M Road, right in the Fort area. This part of Mumbai is always bustling with people in suits and old colonial buildings. Bipinchandra Kantilal Mehta is the name on the brass plate. The office feels a bit like stepping back in time. We have high ceilings and old wooden cabinets filled with papers. It’s not a modern glass-and-steel office. We like the old-school feel of it. Most of our work involves a lot of reading and writing. We have a few staff members who have been here since they were young. The street outside is loud with taxis and buses, but once you come inside, it’s a bit calmer. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they’ve known us for decades. We sit at our desks and handle whatever comes our way. It’s a very steady environment. We don't rush things and we don't use a lot of jargon. Just straightforward work in an old building. When the day is over, we lock up the heavy doors and head into the crowd at Fort. It’s a good place to be. The building has these beautiful old windows that let in a lot of light during the day, even if the glass is a bit streaky.
