Bipin Kumar & Co

We are located at 8 Haria House, which sits right behind Hindmata Cinema in Dadar East. Most people know the area for the fabrics and the constant noise of the market outside. Our space isn't very big, and the walls have seen better days, but it’s where we spend most of our time from morning until late evening. You have to walk through the lane to find us, and sometimes the traffic makes it hard to get deliveries in on time. We have stacks of items piled up near the back wall because there never seems to be enough shelf space. The fans hum all day long to keep the air moving, though it still gets quite warm in the afternoons. Bipin Kumar & Co has been around this part of Dadar for a while now. We know the tea seller at the corner and the other shopkeepers in Haria House pretty well. It's a busy life here. We don't have fancy decorations or a big sign, just the name on the door and the address. Sometimes the rains make the entrance a bit muddy, but we just put down some cardboard and keep going. Most of our day is spent checking through papers or moving stock around to make room for new things coming in. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to get things done without too much fuss. People come and go, the cinema crowd changes, but we stay right here in the back until it's time to lock up and head home.
