Bharat Transport

You can find us at Bharat Transport in the Regal Industrial Estate over at Masjid Bunder West. Our office is number 207 in Building 28, right near the Wadi Bunder Bridge. It’s a hectic area with trucks and loaders moving all the time, but that’s where the action is. We’ve been in the transport business for years, moving goods from one side of the city to the other. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls to drivers. The office isn't anything special, just a few desks and a lot of ledgers. We don't use much fancy software; we prefer knowing our routes and our people by heart. Traffic in Mumbai is always a headache, so we spend half our day figuring out the best times to move things. We deal with all sorts of cargo, from small boxes to big industrial parts. It's dusty and loud near the bridge, but we've gotten used to it. We aren't a massive logistics company with thousands of trucks. We are a smaller crew that knows how to get things delivered without making a big deal out of it. Most of our clients have been with us for a long time because they know we're honest about the timing. If a truck breaks down, we tell you. We don't make excuses, we just find another way to finish the job. It's a tough business, but we've been doing it long enough.
