Bharat Metal Industries

Our workshop is located at Gate No 131 in Kumbharwada. If you know this area, you know it is all about industry and making things. There are shops and small factories everywhere you look. We are at unit 59 inside. It’s a gritty place, to be honest. There is a lot of soot and the smell of hot metal is always around. We have been working with metal here for a long time. The equipment we use is old but it still works fine for what we need. We don't have a fancy office or a place to sit down and have tea, usually we just stand around the machines. It’s loud because of the hammering and the grinding, so you have to talk a bit louder to be heard. The floors are concrete and always have some bits of scrap lying around. We try to keep it organized, but when you are busy, things tend to pile up. It’s a hard way to earn a living but it’s what we know. The community here in Kumbharwada is tight, and everyone is doing their own thing. We just focus on our metalwork and getting the orders done for the people who hire us. It’s not a place for someone who doesn’t like getting their hands dirty. We are just a small part of the big industrial engine here, doing our bit every day. There is always a lot to do and the work never really stops.
