Scientific Metal Works

Out here in Bhandup Sonapur, things are always a bit noisy. Scientific Metal Works is tucked away in Ram Rahim Udyog at Gala Number 7. If you are looking for us, we are on Dargah X Road, specifically in that lane everyone calls Barf Wali Gali. It’s a real industrial vibe around here with lots of workshops doing different things. We focus on metal work, mainly cutting, bending, and making parts that other businesses need. The shop floor is usually covered in metal shavings and the smell of welding. It is not a clean place, but that’s how metal shops are. We’ve got a few machines that have been with us for years. They are loud but they work well. The guys here know exactly how to handle the heavy sheets and bars. We get orders from all over the area, sometimes small custom jobs and sometimes bigger batches. Finding the shop can be tricky if you don't know Barf Wali Gali, but once you’re in the lane, you’ll hear us. We don't spend money on fancy offices or uniforms. We just wear our work clothes and get grease on our hands. It’s straightforward work. We take the raw metal and turn it into whatever the drawing says. Most of our day is spent measuring twice and cutting once. It’s a tough trade but we like being part of the Bhandup manufacturing community and working hard.
