We have been at Liladhar Mansion for quite a while now. Shop Number 1 is where we keep all the stock and handle our daily business. It is right by Alankar Cinema, so it is usually easy to find if you are navigating the 2nd Khetwadi Lane area. We deal mostly with steel items and work with regular clients who come by the shop. It gets a bit busy on the lane sometimes with all the traffic and deliveries, but we manage to get things done. My father started things here years ago and I am just keeping the wheels turning. We do not have a big fancy office, just the shop floor and some storage space in the back. People come in looking for specific sizes and we check the piles to see if we have it. Sometimes we have to order things in if it is not on the shelf at that moment. The building itself is old and has a lot of history to it. We try to keep things organized, but with steel, it is always a bit dusty and loud. We open early in the morning and stay until the evening. If you are walking down from the main road, just look for our sign near the cinema. It is a small space but we fit a lot of metal in there. We do not do much advertising, mostly just people knowing us from being in the neighborhood so long. It is a straightforward business.
