You can find Bhairav Steels in Bhandup West. We are at Shop No 3 in the Parab Shopping Center, which is in the Parkarwada area. It’s a place where we sell different types of steel products like rods and pipes. The shop is quite small for the kind of heavy stuff we keep, so it’s always a bit of a squeeze to move around. We don't have any fancy displays or a showroom. It’s just a warehouse-style shop where we keep the inventory stacked up. Most of our customers are builders or people doing renovations in their homes. We spend a lot of our day measuring out pieces and cutting them to the size people need. It’s hard work and your clothes get dirty pretty fast from the metal dust. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything. People come to us because we’ve been in this shopping center for a long time. We have a small corner with a table where we do the billing and talk to the customers. The shopping center is quite old and can get a bit dark in the corners, but we have enough lights in our shop. We usually close up early in the evening once the main rush is over. It’s just a honest, local business. We like the people in Bhandup and we plan to stay here for as long as we can. It's a lot of lifting every day.
