Our place is over at 35/41 Girgaon Katraj inside the Chandralok Building. If you've been around this part of town, you probably know the area gets pretty crowded. We handle a lot of steel here. It’s heavy and takes up a lot of room. Most of the time we are just sorting through stacks of metal or loading things up. The building itself has been around for a bit. It’s not a shiny new showroom or anything like that. It’s a workplace. We have all sorts of steel pieces lying around. Sometimes it gets noisy when we are moving the inventory. People stop by to see what we have in stock for their projects. We just talk to them like normal people. No sales pitches or anything. Just telling them what's available and what the price is today. Prices change, you know how it is. We spend a lot of our hours just keeping track of everything. It can be a bit of a headache when a big shipment comes in. My clothes usually end up with a bit of rust or dust on them by the end of the shift. That’s just part of working with steel in Girgaon. We've been here for a while and the neighbors know us. It’s a straightforward business. We show up, we handle the steel, and we go home.
