Working in steel casting is hard, sweaty work, but that is what we do at Bhagwati Steel Cast Ltd. Our setup is over at 121 Borivali East in Ganeshnagar. The address says Wadgaonsheri and Pune Udyog Bhavan, which can get a bit confusing for delivery drivers trying to find us the first time. It is a bit of a trek to get out here, but once you are at the Udyog Bhavan, it is easier to spot. We spend the day dealing with molds and heavy metal parts. The floor is always dusty, and there is usually a lot of noise from the machines running. It is not the kind of place where you wear a clean shirt for long. People come to us when they need specific steel parts made. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is mostly just us working through the orders we have on the desk. The tea breaks are the best part of the afternoon when things cool down for a bit. Being in an industrial area like this means everyone is doing something similar. You hear the hammers and the grinders from the neighbors all day long. We just focus on the pieces we are casting and hope the electricity stays steady. It is a basic operation, run by people who have been around metal all their lives. We just keep our heads down, finish the jobs, and go home to rest. It takes a lot out of you, but we get it done.
