Bhageria Naredi Asssociates is right in the middle of the chaos in Andheri East. If you’ve ever been to this part of Mumbai, you know how it is. The traffic is always something else and the noise from the metro construction never seems to stop. We’ve got our little setup here where we handle all sorts of things for people. It’s not a fancy corporate building with a doorman, just a normal office where we get our work done. Most of the time, we’re buried under folders or talking on the phone. Sometimes the power goes out for a minute and we just sit there and wait. It’s fine. We know the chai wallah downstairs pretty well and he brings us tea a few times a day. That’s basically how we keep going. Working in Andheri East means you’re always around people, which is good I guess. We’ve seen businesses come and go on this street, but we’ve managed to stick around. It gets pretty humid in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. People stop in when they’re in the neighborhood and need something looked at. We don't have a big receptionist or anything, you just walk in. It’s a bit messy sometimes with all the documents, but we know where everything is. It’s just us doing our thing in this corner of the city, trying to keep up with the daily tasks.
