Beas Metal

If you know C.P. Tank, you know how narrow the lanes are. Our place, Beas Metal, is in the Virchand Umarshi Building, specifically at No.3/21. It’s right there on Panjarapole Lane. Finding us can be a bit of a challenge if you aren’t used to the area because there are so many buildings packed together. We’ve been here for a long time, dealing with all sorts of metals. The building is old, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Inside the office, it’s mostly just us handling phone calls and talking to people who walk in off the street. There’s always a lot of noise from the street below, with carts and motorbikes squeezing past each other. We don't have a big corporate team; it's just a few of us making sure the metal gets where it needs to go. We spend a lot of time checking prices and talking to suppliers. It’s a tight space, so we have to be careful about how we pile things up. Some days it feels like we’re just moving papers and metal around, but it keeps us busy. We don’t have a website or anything fancy, just our address here in the heart of the metal market. It’s a practical life, working in the middle of all that chaos every day. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet is slow, but we just manage with what we have. People usually stop by for a tea while we talk.
