You can find us in the Apsara Building, which is right across from the Electric House on Colaba Causeway. It’s a very famous part of South Mumbai, always crawling with tourists and shoppers. Our office is a bit of a sanctuary from all that noise outside. We handle container terminal stuff from here. It’s a lot of logistics and planning. The building is one of those older ones, so the rooms have a certain feel to them. We’ve got our maps and schedules pinned to the walls. Most of the people working here have been in the shipping industry for decades. We aren’t really into fancy office furniture or anything like that. We just need a good desk and a working phone line. Dealing with containers means things are always changing, so we have to stay alert. Sometimes the traffic on the Causeway makes it hard to get in on time, but we manage. We aren't a giant corporation with thousands of employees; we're just a dedicated group in a well-known building. We keep things pretty low-key. If you walk in, you’ll see us busy with paperwork or talking to the docks. It’s a lot of routine mixed with the occasional surprise when a ship is late. We just take it as it comes and do our job. There is always a lot to manage with the containers moving in and out daily.
