Jsw Steel Ltd. Toranagallu

Our office is located over in the Bandra Kurla Complex, right near the MMRDA grounds. If you’ve ever been to BKC, you know it’s a whole different world compared to the rest of Mumbai. It’s all glass buildings and wide roads, but it gets incredibly busy. We are based here to handle things for the Toranagallu operations. It’s mostly administrative stuff, a lot of coordination and paperwork that keeps the bigger wheels turning. The office itself is just like any other in the complex. We have the usual desks and meetings. Sometimes, when there’s a big event at the MMRDA grounds, the whole area becomes a bit of a nightmare to navigate. We just try to get in early to avoid the worst of the traffic. It’s a long way from the actual steel works, but this is where the planning happens. We aren't the ones in hard hats here. We’re the ones on laptops making sure the logistics are sorted. It’s a steady job. We don't have any fancy mission statements posted on the walls. We just come in, do the work that needs doing, and head home at the end of the shift. The heat in Mumbai can be pretty brutal, so we’re thankful for the office air conditioning. It’s a professional environment but we keep it pretty down-to-earth among ourselves. Just a bunch of people working in a busy business district every day.
