Banbury Solar Peripherals is actually a division of Abacus Peripherals, and we are based at 29 Apurva Industrial Estate on Makwana Road in Marol, Andheri East. Being in an industrial estate means there is always something going on nearby. You’ll hear trucks and see people moving boxes all day long. Our space is pretty functional. We have rows of shelves for all the solar peripherals we keep in stock. It’s not a showroom, it’s more of a working warehouse and office mix. We’ve been in this part of Andheri for a good while. The roads around Marol can be a bit of a mess with the traffic, but it’s a good spot for distribution. We handle things like solar components and accessories. It’s mostly about making sure we have the right parts when someone needs them. The team here is small and we all pitch in with different tasks. Sometimes the office gets a bit dusty because of the industrial setting, but that’s just how it is. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a sleek office. We just want to get the orders out on time. Most of our day is spent checking inventory and talking to suppliers. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We’ve learned a lot about the solar side of things over the years. It isn't always glamorous work, moving heavy boxes and checking serial numbers, but it is what keeps the business running. We just stick to our routine and get through the shipments.
