Balaji Metal Industries

Balaji Metal Industries has been based out of Gulalwadi for a long time now. You can find us at Plot 47/51 on Kika Street. We are up on the third floor in office number 26. It is not the easiest place to find if you are new to the area because the streets here are very narrow and always full of people and carts. Our day starts early when the market opens up. We handle various metal products and spend most of our time checking stocks or talking to people who come by. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, but we have some fans going. The building is old, and you have to climb a lot of stairs, but it is home to us. We deal with whatever metal orders come our way. Sometimes things are slow and we just sit and talk about the neighborhood. Other days it is a total rush with people shouting and deliveries arriving all at once. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. It’s a lot of manual work, moving heavy stuff around. We try to keep things organized but in a small office like this, it is hard. People know us around here because we have been in this spot for years. We just do our work, close up late, and come back the next morning to do it again. It is a simple life and we are used to the noise and the constant activity of the market.
