Bafna Metal Corporation

Building 131 in Gulal Wadi is where we spend most of our time. It is an old spot on Kika Street. If you know Charni Road, you know how busy it gets with all the traffic and people moving around. We handle metals here at Bafna Metal Corporation. Some days are just about moving stacks of sheets or rods from one corner to the other. It gets dusty and the noise from the street outside never really stops. We’ve been here for a while now. The stairs in the building are a bit narrow and you have to be careful when carrying heavy things. Usually, someone is sitting at the small desk near the door while the rest of us are busy in the back. Lunch is often just something quick from a nearby stall because there is always another truck coming in or someone asking about a price. We don't have fancy offices or anything like that. It’s just a workspace with tools and metal everywhere. Sometimes the fans don't work right and it gets hot, but that is just how it is working in this part of town. People come in looking for specific sizes and we try to find what they need in the piles. It is basic work but it keeps us busy from morning until late evening when the shutters finally go down.
