Our office is tucked away in Kailash Krupa Society, which is right in the Damle Colony area. If you know Kanjurmarg or Bhandup East, you know it can get pretty busy with traffic. We’ve been at this spot for a good while. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves full of files and a few computers that have seen better days. We don't really do the whole polished corporate look. It's more of a place where we sit down and focus on the technical details of the consulting work. The fan makes a bit of a clicking sound when it’s on high speed, but we don’t mind it much. Usually, someone brings in snacks for the afternoon, and we take ten minutes to eat near the window overlooking the street. It’s a regular neighborhood vibe here. Clients come by, sit on the plastic chairs, and we talk through whatever needs doing. We aren't trying to impress anyone with glass walls or expensive rugs. It’s just B Mehtalia Consultants Pvt Ltd, doing what we do every day. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we take the stairs. It keeps us moving, I guess. We like being in this part of Mumbai. It feels real. The work gets finished, the papers get signed, and we head home like everyone else. It’s a practical workspace for practical people who just want to get things done.
