B. J. Steel Centre

B. J. Steel Centre stays pretty active most days, being located right near the Gol Devol Temple. Our address is 206/208, Sant Sena Maharaj Marg, in the Sant Sena Bhuvan building. It is right in the middle of 2Nd Kumbharwada, which is a place that never really sleeps. We have been in the steel business for quite some time now. The space can get a bit tight when we have a lot of stock coming in. We don’t really do much advertising or anything like that. People just find us because we have been here for years and they know where to look. The shop is filled with different types of steel, and it can be a bit of a maze if you don't know your way around. We spend most of our hours measuring pieces and making sure the counts are exactly what the customer asked for. It is a bit of a dusty environment, but that is just the nature of the business. We have a small team of workers who know the inventory by heart. Sometimes we have to move heavy pieces around to find what someone needs. It keeps us on our feet all day. We do not have a big corporate office or anything. It is just a local shop where we handle the daily orders. We just focus on getting the tasks done and making sure the trucks are loaded properly.
