B H Merchant

B H Merchant has been operating out of S V Road in Sector 4 for a long time. Our exact spot is 18/21. If you know the area, you know how much traffic there is, especially during the peak hours. We’re right in the middle of all that action. The office is in an older building that has seen better days, but it’s sturdy enough for what we do. We act as merchants for various goods, so we spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and checking on our inventory. It’s not a very glamorous job. Most of the time we’re just sitting at our desks, making phone calls or looking over invoices. We have a small back room where we keep some of the stock, though it’s always a struggle to keep it organized. The light in the hallway is usually flickering, and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint. We aren't really concerned with looking like a big corporate firm. We just want to get our work done and keep our regulars happy. Some days are long, and we end up staying late just to finish the filing. We usually grab lunch from the small stall downstairs. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We’ve been here so long that the routine feels like second nature to us now. We don't really believe in making things more complicated than they need to be.
